William Ching
Biography
William Ching was a character actor born on October 2, 1913, in St. Louis, Missouri, who began his career as a professional singer before transitioning to film and television in the late 1940s. Notable roles include Halliday in Rudolph Maté's 1950 film noir D.O.A. and the overbearing boyfriend of Katharine Hepburn's character in George Cukor's 1952 comedy Pat and Mike. He appeared in numerous films and TV series, including Rex Willard in "Tall Man Riding" and Anson Prichett in "Give a Girl a Break".
