Biography

Edmund Breon was a Scottish film and stage actor born Iver Edmund de Breon MacLaverty in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, in 1882. He began his career with John Hare's touring company before gaining prominence on the West End stage and in Glasgow. Notable films include "A Little Bit of Fluff" (1928), "The Dawn Patrol" (1930), and roles in the Fantômas series and other notable British and American productions, before emigrating to Canada and later the US.
