Frieda Inescort
Biography
Frieda Inescort was a Scottish-born actress whose Broadway credits included creating the role of Sorel Bliss in Noël Coward's Hay Fever and playing the shingled lady in John Galsworthy's Escape. She also appeared in notable films such as Mary of Scotland, The Letter, and A Place in the Sun, alongside Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson in the 1940 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
