Robert Karnes

Biography

Robert Anthony Karnes was born on June 19, 1917, in Kentucky. He served in World War II and later toured the Pacific with a production of Hamlet before beginning his screen career in 1946. A prolific television guest star, Karnes appeared in numerous iconic shows, including "Gunsmoke" and "The Twilight Zone", and notable films like "Miracle on 34th Street". He passed away on December 4, 1979.
