Takeshi Ōbayashi is a Japanese actor born on January 24, 1942, in Okayama Prefecture. He graduated from Tokyo Foreign Language University's Portuguese and Brazilian courses and trained at the Actors' Studio. Notable roles include his portrayal of Murakami Yoshikiyo in "Heaven and Earth" (1990) and Kôhei Mizukami in "Hitomi Kobayashi's Young Girl's Story" (1987), as well as a memorable performance in the 2008 TV drama "Takeshi Ōbayashi"
