Biography

Suriya is a Tamil film actor and producer, known for his breakthrough role in Nandha (2001) and subsequent commercial success with Kaakha Kaakha (2003). He has won numerous awards, including three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards South, and founded the production house 2D Entertainment in 2013. A family man, Suriya married co-star Jyothika in 2006, while also supporting philanthropic efforts through his Agaram Foundation.
