A violent past haunts Paarivel Kannan, an orphan raised by a gangster who's now searching for his true origins and a fresh start in 1990s India. Betrayal and a cult threaten to upend his life, but he also seeks revenge against those who wronged him, including the man who severed his family from their island home and the politician they smuggled arms for. Along the way, he must confront his troubled love life and ultimately claim his rightful place in the world.
