Peter Michael Genovese, born April 26, 1942, is an American actor known for his distinctive roles in film and television. As a character actor, he has played heavies in notable vehicles such as Harlem Nights, alongside Eddie Murphy and Redd Foxx, and on the long-running medical drama ER, where he appeared opposite his real-life wife Ellen Crawford. Genovese also had recurring roles on series like NYPD Blue and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
