Anne Dorval is a French Canadian actress from Québec, born on November 8, 1960, to Madeleine and Gaetan Dorval. She began her career on stage in 1985 at Cégep de Trois-Rivières and the Drama Conservatory of Montreal. Notably, she has collaborated with director Xavier Dolan five times, including winning the FIPRESCI Award for Best Actress at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2010 for "I Killed My Mother".
