Kankuro Kudo

Biography

Kankurō Kudō is a Japanese screenwriter, dramatist, director, actor, and guitarist, known for his work in film and television. He won the Best Screenplay award at the 2002 Japanese Academy Awards for Go, a drama exploring problems faced by people of Korean-heritage living in Japan. Notable roles include Tomiyuki Kibe in "Mom, Is That You?!" (2023) and Sadao Haruyama in "My Uncle" (2016).
