Biography

Mitzi Green, born Elizabeth Keno, was a child actress who rose to fame in the early "talkies" era. She began appearing in her parents' vaudeville act at age 3 and went on to star in several Paramount Pictures films, including Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, and even showcased her singing talent in Girl Crazy. As she matured, Green transitioned to adult roles on Broadway and in nightclubs, re-emerging in Hollywood in 1952 with roles in Lost in Alaska and Bloodhounds of Broadway.
