Namrata Singh Gujral is an Indian and American actress and filmmaker, born in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, to a multicultural family. She began her acting career with the 2001 film Training Day before transitioning into producing, directing, and starring in socially relevant projects. Her directorial debut came after surviving breast cancer, featuring notable survivors and advocates in the 2010 cancer docudrama 1 a Minute.
