Francis L. Sullivan was an English film and stage actor born on January 6, 1903, in Wandsworth, London. He made his acting debut at the Old Vic at age 18 in Shakespeare's Richard III and went on to appear in notable films such as Oliver Twist (1948) and Night and the City (1950). Sullivan won a Tony Award in 1955 for the Agatha Christie play Witness for the Prosecution before passing away of a heart attack at 53.
