Biography

Wong Tin-Lam was a prolific Hong Kong filmmaker and actor whose six-decade career spanned various genres, including melodrama and wuxia serials. He began directing in the mid-1950s and later gained recognition for his work on TV drama serials, which he pioneered by combining film techniques with television production flexibility. In his later years, Wong appeared in supporting roles in films directed by notable Hong Kong directors, including Johnnie To and Wong Jing.
