Linda Cristal was a talented Argentine-American actress born Marta Victoria Moya Peggo Burges on February 23, 1931. She won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in the comedy film The Perfect Furlough (1958) and later starred as Victoria Cannon in the NBC series The High Chaparral from 1967 to 1971, earning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 1970.
