Chor Yuen

Biography

Chor Yuen was a Hong Kong-Chinese film director, screenwriter, and actor born Cheung Po-kin on October 8, 1934. He began his acting career in 1954 and later transitioned to writing and directing, with notable credits including "The Seventh Curse" (1986), "Hong Kong Graffiti" (1995), and a stint as Dr. Chu in the classic film "Police Story". With over 120 films under his directorial belt, Yuen left an indelible mark on Hong Kong cinema. He passed away on February 21, 2022.
