Biography

Rosaura Revueltas was a Mexican actress and dancer born in 1910 in Lerdo, Durango, to a family of artists. She began her career in the arts after marrying German citizen Frederick Bodenstedt, initially performing dance and later transitioning to acting, with notable stage successes including "La desconocida de Arrás" (1946). Her breakthrough role came in the 1954 film "Salt of the Earth," cementing her reputation as a talented actress.
