Biography

Gō Rijū is a Japanese film director and actor known for his versatility in both roles. He began making short films as a teenager, earning recognition at the Pia Film Festival with his 1980 debut, "Kyōkun I." As a director, he has earned notable awards, including the NETPAC Award for his 1995 film "Elephant Song" and the Directors Guild of Japan New Directors Award for his 1995 work "Berlin".
