Marty Wilde, born Reginald Leonard Smith on April 15, 1939, is a British singer who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits like "Endless Sleep" and "Sea of Love." As one of the first British pop stars to emulate American rock 'n' roll, he achieved significant success throughout the 1960s. He also co-wrote hit singles for other artists, including his daughter Kim Wilde.
