Ricardo Canales

Biography

Ricardo Canales was a Spanish actor with a distinguished career in Argentina, debuting in film during the golden age of Argentine cinema in 1942. He performed on stage with notable companies, including Margarita Xirgú and his own troupe, before returning to Spain in the early 1950s. In addition to his acting work, Canales was a father to two notable individuals: Ricardo Canales Niaucel, who managed an Argentine theater association, and actress Susana Canales.
