Jean Sorel, born on September 25, 1934, in Marseille, France, is a French actor who rose to prominence in European cinema during the 1960s and '70s. He drew comparisons with Alain Delon for his screen persona, which earned him leading man status in films such as "Bonnie and Clyde Italian Style" (1983) and "Murder in a Blue World" (1973). Sorel has also worked extensively in television since 1980.
