Elizza La Porta

Biography

Elizza La Porta was a Romanian-born film actress, born on March 1, 1902, in Craiova to a Jewish family. She appeared in numerous German films during the silent era, including "The Student of Prague" (1926). After the advent of sound films, La Porta retired from acting and later emigrated to the United States, where she passed away in Los Angeles in 1997 at the age of 95.
