Takashi Kanda

Biography

Takashi Kanda was a Japanese actor and voice actor born on April 14, 1918, in Tokyo's Adachi district. He studied literature at Tokyo Imperial University and began his career as a film critic before joining Nikkatsu in 1943. Kanda went on to appear in numerous films and television dramas, including the "Shukumei Kaidan" series and the "Kamen Rider" franchise, before passing away on July 13, 1986, at the age of 68 due to a head injury sustained from an escalator accident.
