The Party's Just Beginning

In a bleak Inverness midwinter, Luisaidh is careening off the rails after the suicide of her best friend, Alistair. She medicates her misery with joyless sex, chips and a belief in the power of positive drinking, surrounded by bittersweet memories that make life feel unbearable. As she struggles to find someone to talk to or some reason to make life worthwhile, Luisaidh's downward spiral takes a heart-stopping turn when she saves a stranger from jumping off a bridge - only to watch him disappear into her life again. Will she be able to break free from the cycle of pain and find a way to heal?
