Tomorrow Is Forever

Elizabeth MacDonald (Claudette Colbert) is notified by telegram that her husband, John Andrew MacDonald, has been killed in World War I just before Christmas in 1918. Years later, on the eve of World War II, Elizabeth meets a stranger named Kessler who eerily resembles her late husband, but is actually living under an assumed identity due to his disfiguring injury during the war. As their lives intersect, Elizabeth begins to suspect that the stranger may indeed be John Andrew, leading to a poignant and complex exploration of love, loss, and redemption.
