Hi, Mom!

In this 1970 black comedy, Vietnam vet Jon Rubin returns to New York and becomes obsessed with filmmaking, using "Peeping Tom" style techniques to secretly capture his neighbors, including a young woman he seduces for a pornographic film. His fascination with urban guerrilla tactics leads him down a path of radical activism, culminating in a bizarre act of terrorism that leaves the audience stunned and disappointed. Written and directed by Brian De Palma, Robert De Niro stars as Rubin, reprising his role from De Palma's earlier film Greetings.
