A Streetcar Named Desire

Vivien Leigh stars as Blanche DuBois, a neurotic Southern belle who moves in with her sister Stella and her brutish brother-in-law Stanley Kowalski (Marlon Brando) in a dilapidated New Orleans apartment building. As she seeks a relationship with one of Stanley's friends (Karl Malden), her reality crumbles around her, revealing a web of personal losses and tensions that ultimately lead to her downfall.
