"Heat" is an action-packed neo-noir thriller that follows Nick "Mex" Escalante, a former soldier-of-fortune turned bodyguard-for-hire in Las Vegas, as he navigates his way through a complex web of crime and violence to make enough money to leave the city behind. With its gritty realism and lean direction, the film is a tense, adrenaline-fueled ride that pits Escalante against a ruthless crime lord with a penchant for sadistic torture. Ultimately, it's a story of one man's quest for redemption and escape from the darkness of his own past.
