Biography
Diana Elizabeth Scarwid was born on August 27, 1955, in Savannah, Georgia. She moved to New York City at 17 to pursue an acting career, graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Pace University simultaneously. Scarwid's notable roles include Christina Crawford in Mommie Dearest (1980) for which she received an Academy Award nomination, and Truman (1995), earning a Primetime Emmy Award nod.
