Evil Under the Sun

Peter Ustinov stars as Hercule Poirot, whom he had previously portrayed in Death on the Nile (1978), as the Belgian detective investigating a murder at an exclusive island resort. The victim is actress Arlena Stuart Marshall, whose embezzlement of funds from theatrical producers Odell and Myra Gardener is revealed before her death. As Poirot gathers clues, he must untangle a web of alibis and motives among the suspects, including Kenneth, Christine Redfern, Daphne Castle, Rex Brewster, Sir Horace Blatt, Patrick Redfern, and Myra Gardener.
