The Cat's Meow

The Cat's Meow is a 2001 historical drama film directed by Peter Bogdanovich, starring Kirsten Dunst as Marion Davies, Eddie Izzard as Charlie Chaplin, and Edward Herrmann as W.R. Hearst. The film is based on Steven Peros' 1997 play of the same title, which was inspired by the mysterious death of Thomas H. Ince, a film mogul who died under unclear circumstances during a weekend cruise aboard Hearst's yacht in November 1924.
