A rowdy teacher, Zeki Müller, accompanies a class trip to Thailand in search of stolen diamonds and to improve his school's reputation. However, Zeki's own quest for treasure interferes with the planned partnership with a local school, leading to slapstick comedy and chaos. The group's misadventures involve a bar with strippers, a temple vandalism incident, and a showdown with rival students who are growing marijuana in poverty-stricken conditions.
