Lifeforce

A race of space vampires arrives in London and infects the populace, commencing an apocalyptic descent into chaos. The crew of a joint British and American Space Shuttle Churchill discovers hundreds of desiccated bat-like creatures and three naked humanoid bodies in suspended animation within glass containers, which are then brought to Earth after being discovered on an alien space ship hidden in the coma of Halley's Comet. Col. Tom Carlsen (Steve Railsback) recounts the events aboard Churchill, including feeling compelled to open the female vampire's container and sharing his life force with her, leading to the draining of the Churchill crew's life force.
