Chungking Express

Two melancholic Hong Kong policemen fall in love: one with a mysterious underworld figure, Woman in Blonde Wig (Brigitte Lin), and the other with Faye Wong's quirky snack bar worker, who becomes a flight attendant. Cop 223 (Takeshi Kaneshiro) struggles to move on from his recently ended relationship, buying pineapples with an expiration date of May 1st as a means to closure, while Cop 663 (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) finds solace in the company of Faye, who helps him cheer up and eventually becomes the owner of the food store he converted into a restaurant.
