The Silence

The Silence follows Ally Andrews (Kiernan Shipka), a teenage girl who lost her hearing in a car accident, as she seeks refuge outside the city with her family to escape deadly creatures that hunt by sound. A mysterious cult joins them, claiming the creatures were sent by God as a divine punishment. The family faces numerous challenges and dangers on their journey to a supposed safe haven called "The Refuge", where Ally ultimately learns to adapt to living without sound and faces off against the creatures in a climactic confrontation.
