In "Crypto", Beau Knapp stars as Martin "Marty" Duran, an anti-money laundering analyst who is demoted to his hometown of Elba, New York, after producing a report that kills a potential client deal. There, he reunites with childhood friends Earl (Jeremie Harris) and Caleb (Luke Hemsworth), and starts investigating a money laundering scheme involving a Russian mafia group, led by Viktor and Nikos. With the help of hacker Earl and art gallery worker Katie (Alexis Bledel), Marty uncovers evidence that points to his former boss Robin facilitating the scheme at Omnicorp Bank.
