Waking Life

Waking Life is a surreal dreamscape where a young man navigates a series of philosophical discussions that blur reality and fantasy, probing the nature of existence, free will, and the meaning of life. Shot in Mini DV camera and edited digitally through rotoscoping, the film features a unique blend of live-action footage and animation, weaving together ideas from philosophers like André Bazin and existentialist thinkers. As our protagonist wanders through dreamlike realities, he encounters a cast of characters who challenge his perceptions, leading him to question the boundaries between dreams and reality.
