Real Genius is a 1985 American science fiction comedy film about two teenage geniuses, Mitch Taylor (Gabriel Jarret) and Chris Knight (Val Kilmer), who work on an advanced laser project at Pacific Tech University but soon discover it's intended for the CIA as a weapon. With their ideal of academic success shattered, they concoct a plan to thwart the military's plans and bring their friend Jordan Cochran (Michelle Meyrink) along for the ride.
