Runaway Train

Oscar 'Manny' Manheim (Jon Voight), a notorious prison hero, escapes a maximum security prison in the frozen wastelands of Alaska. He is joined by Buck McGeehy (Eric Roberts), a naive follower, and they stow away on a train consisting of four locomotives that runs away. The arrogant Warden Ranken (John P. Ryan) is on the warpath for Manny, while they are pursued by dispatchers Dave Prince (Kyle T. Heffner) and Frank Barstow, who must try to stop the train before it's too late.
