Rififi

Tony "le Stéphanois" (Jean Servais), a gangster recently returned from serving five years in prison for jewel theft, is approached by his friend Jo "le Suédois" about a smash-and-grab heist. Tony declines at first but later changes his mind after learning that his old girlfriend Mado has become the lover of local gangster Pierre Grutter during his absence. The four devise and rehearse an ingenious plan to break into the exclusive jewelry shop's safe, successfully pulling off the theft without leaving any trace of their identities. However, things escalate when Grutter seeks revenge against Tony's crew, leading to a series of violent confrontations and ultimately, Tony's mortal confrontation with Grutter.
