Flight of the Phoenix

Dennis Quaid stars as Capt. Frank Towns and Tyrese Gibson plays co-pilot A.J. in this 2004 survival drama film about a group of people who survive an aircraft crash in the Gobi Desert and must build a new aircraft out of the old one to escape, with Giovanni Ribisi as Elliott, a hitchhiker who pitches a radical idea to rebuild the wreckage into a functional aircraft.
