Kevork Malikyan is a British-Armenian actor and teacher born on June 2, 1943, to Armenian parents in Turkey. He attended a religious seminary in Istanbul before being sent to an orphanage, where he spent two years before pursuing a career in acting. Known for his roles in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Mind Your Language, Flight of the Phoenix, and Payitaht: Abdülhamid, Malikyan has worked with renowned directors and actors including Steven Spielberg and Anthony Hopkins.
