Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) are kidnapped by Murad Hoxha, the father of one of Bryan's previous targets, in Istanbul. As Bryan tries to rescue them, he uses his skills to evade the kidnappers and eventually track down Murad, leading to a thrilling confrontation. Along the way, Bryan must also protect his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) from further harm.
