Angel Heart

In 1955 New York City, a private investigator named Harry Angel is hired by Louis Cyphre to track down a musician named Johnny Favorite, whose whereabouts are shrouded in mystery. As Angel delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and violence that takes him from the desperate streets of Harlem to the smoke-filled jazz clubs of New Orleans, and finally, to the swamps of Louisiana, where the dark forces of voodoo await. Along the way, Angel's own identity begins to unravel, leading him on a surreal journey into the heart of darkness.
