Ocean Waves

Taku Morisaki (Nobuo Tobita) has been pining for Rikako Mutou since they met at a train station in Tokyo, and she boards a plane to Kōchi Prefecture, a place he's never been. As the aeroplane takes off, Taku narrates the events that brought her into his life, from their high school reunion to their brief but intense friendship. A complicated love triangle develops between the two good friends, Yutaka Matsuno and Akiko Shimizu, and Rikako, an attractive and academically gifted transfer student from Tokyo.
