In 1536, an alchemist in Veracruz develops a mechanism that can give eternal life. Centuries later, Jesús Gris, an elderly antique dealer, finds the device in a statue and uses it to regain his youth. As he becomes younger, he also develops a thirst for blood, but nothing comes without a price. When Dieter de la Guardia, a dying businessman, discovers the mechanism's location, he sends his nephew Angel to purchase the statue, leading to a dark and violent confrontation that puts Gris, Aurora (his granddaughter), and others in grave danger.
