Making the Grade

Making the Grade is a 1984 American teen comedy film about Palmer Woodrow (Dana Olsen), a rich prep school kid who hires street-smart Eddie Keaton (Judd Nelson) to attend his prep school and graduate in exchange for $10,000 and a Porsche, allowing him to travel to Europe. When Eddie falls in love with preppie gal Tracey Hoover (Jonna Lee), the scheme starts to unravel as he struggles to tell whose side he's on amidst his bookie from the old neighborhood, Dice.
