Captive State

In a nearly decade after an alien invasion and occupation, the lives of a Chicago neighborhood are explored on both sides of the conflict. The Drummond family, Gabriel and Rafe, struggle to survive in a world where humans are conscripted to build "Closed Zones" for aliens with restricted civil rights. As Gabriel navigates his own rebellion against the oppressive regime, he encounters Commander William Mulligan, who may hold secrets about his family's past.
