A college student, Amanda Colby Stewart as Bailey, will do anything for Internet fame and is kidnapped by a fan; her reluctant roommate is the only one who can save her. The film explores the obsession with online fame and how social media users lose themselves chasing virality, satirizing not only social media but also advertising and corporate sponsorship. With an unexpected plot twist and critical message about internet culture, Clickbait won the award for "Best Feature" at the Starburst 2019 Fantasy Film Awards.
