A 2012 heist comedy film starring Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz, this remake of the 1966 classic follows British art curator Harry Deane as he seeks revenge on his abusive boss by conning him into buying a fake Monet painting, enlisting the help of an eccentric Texas rodeo queen. With its dark comedy tone, broad stereotypes, and game of misunderstandings, Gambit is a lighthearted caper that entertains despite some plot gaps.
